Challenge
The project required the presentation of complicated subject matter in the simplest form possible: an easy to digest, approachable version of Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity. Maintaining scientifically accurate content while dispensing with all unnecessary content proved to be the most challenging aspect. A large number of ideas were scrapped or heavily reworked to properly represent the science.
Impact
The project was launched online on the centennial of Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity, 24th November 2015. The film aimed to expand the audience of the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The project was their largest online success to date, clocking up 840K views and vastly expanding STFC’s following.
