Daniel Cantwell/Ben & Anvil
Challenge
The starting point was preparing for the 2015 launch of the Ben & Anvil studio and the need to create an innovative and fresh showcase for its design abilities. Gin was the topic of choice, and the cocktail era the starting point. It called for a great palette, line style and moody colours, along with an excellent soundtrack.
Impact
The Story of Gin has won acclaim and awards around the world: the Audience Choice award at the Dublin Animation Film Festival 2015, an Accenture silver medal, A’Design bronze medal and was selected as a finalist at PromaxBDA.
Based in Dublin and set up by husband and wife team Daniel and Ailbhe Cantwell in September 2015, Ben & Anvil is a creative postproduction studio offering animation, motion graphics and visual effects services.
